Expanding Diabetic Retinopathy Screening via Telehealth
The Chicago CARES program aims to increase and expand teleretinal diabetic retinopathy screening (TDRS) services for high-risk, low-income Latinx and African American communities.
Session Information
Plenary and interactive breakout sessions will explore barriers and solutions to increasing access to TDRS in Chicago. Participants will discuss and illuminate systemic and clinical implementation barriers, prioritize areas for action, and suggest possible solutions that will expand access to TDRS.
