Health Transformation Policy: National Trends and Direction
The federal health policy landscape is changing, led by a new Administration, including a new Secretary of Health and Human Services, a new Administrator for the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services and a new Surgeon General. This session will explore changes to federal healthcare and public health policy and discuss how CMS and the federal government are approaching population health, in particular in the context of the transformation of the health care delivery system.
Following the CMS presentation, we will have a panel discussion with leaders who have a perspective on how policy is or can drive improvements in population health, address social determinants of health, and promote health equity.
