Judge Dismisses Lawsuit Challenging the Cook County Sweetened Beverage Tax

July 28, 2017- Cook County Circuit Judge Daniel Kubasiak dismissed the lawsuit filed by the Illinois Retail Merchants Association alleging that the Cook County sweetened beverage tax was unconstitutional.
