The Alliance for Health Equity (newly named merger of the Healthy Chicago Hospital Collaborative and Health Impact Collaborative of Cook County) and IPHI recently partnered with several other organizations to hold a webinar on health and immigration, “Creating a Welcoming Environment for All: Learn from Immigrant Health national experts.” The webinar included presentations from the National Immigrant Law Center (NILC) and CaliforniaHealth+/California Primary Care Association. This webinar was geared toward health care and social service providers in Chicagoland and across Illinois. It is a follow-up to the webinar that was presented in April 2017, “Protecting immigrants: How providers can serve immigrants and their families in a challenging climate,” with a focus on practical tools, resources, and examples for how healthcare and social service providers can welcome, support, and protect immigrants in our communities. Below are links to the recordings of both webinars. If you are interested in staying connected to more information on immigration and health, please reply to this brief survey.
