The MidAmerica Center for Public Health Practice at UIC School of Public Health in Chicago is inviting public health professionals and community partners to participate in a unique educational opportunity. The MidAmerica Regional Public Health Leadership Institute (MARPHLI), now starting its 22nd year, is accepting applications to its twelve-month program, which is designed to develop one’s organizational, professional, and personal leadership skills. MARPHLI Fellows develop greater effectiveness in carrying out the core public health functions of assessment, policy development and assurance not only within their agencies, but also across the public health system.
The 22nd year of MAPRHLI will begin with a three-day kick-off meeting to be held October 28-30, 2014. Location is TBD. The theme of this year’s MARPHLI is “Capacity Building for Population Health Improvement.”
MARPHLI is now accepting applications from potential Fellows in the Midwest region who are interested in enhancing their leadership development.
Applications must be received no later than September 22, 2014 (unless exception is made). All applicants will be notified of our decision within two weeks of receiving the application. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions at 312-996-7919 or at firstname.lastname@example.org.
