The Illinois Public Health Institute is seeking a graduate-level intern in IPHI’s Center for Community Capacity Development to: (1) assist in preparing training on accreditation, quality improvement and community health assessments and improvement plans for local health departments and their community health partners, and (2) assist health departments and non-profit hospitals in conducting community health assessments and developing community health improvement plans.
The Illinois Public Health Institute is seeking a graduate-level intern to support the Illinois Alliance to Prevent Obesity, a statewide coalition launched and coordinated by the Illinois Public Health Institute. Through this unique training opportunity, interns will gain hands-on experience in several possible areas including: government relations/public policy development, communications/media relations, and health and policy research.

Candidate should be a master’s student or recent graduate in public health, public policy, planning, resource management, environmental sciences or other field with strong analytical methods.
